There are many ways for teens to practice self-care. Sometimes all that is needed is a simple reminder to pause and take a few moments for oneself.  We were delighted to see the Virtual Calming Room on Severna Park High School’s counseling web site. You can click on each picture or item to reveal a new mental health self-care resource such as a mini yoga class, meditative art, reminders of kindness and acceptance, and peer support and counseling opportunities.
